General Conference
Dear Journal,
It's Sunday morning and General Conference. We got dressed and ate breakfast. The kids watched TV and played games. Yai and I packed some more. We got the whole front room packed and cleaned. We watched part of the last session of conference. Since we don't really have much real food in the house, I had to go to the store to get something to make for dinner. I decided to make chicken fajitas and fry the tortillas. It was pretty good. The kids ate most of it, but they aren't used to Mexican food because I rarely make it. We watched a little TV as a family and then the kids had to go to bed. David and Jaylin have school in the morning. They were out of school for a week for Spring Break. Such a bummer that we can't sleep in anymore until school gets out for the summer! Not too long after the kids went to bed, Yai and I decided to head up to bed. It's only 9:15 and we're going to bed too. Yai has to get up at 5:00 for work and Skyler still isn't sleeping through the night. He is very strong willed, a lot like Jaylin :) Other than the packing, it was a pretty relaxing day!

Packing
Dear Journal,
This morning I got up and fed Skyler and the kids breakfast. Yai came downstairs and reminded me we had a meeting with Augustine at 9:00 and we were late. I had to hurry and get dressed. We left David, Jaylin, and Avery at home to do their chores and watch TV while we went to the meeting with Skyler. Augustine just wanted to talk about the Demo Team and communicating which is really his problem not ours. He is constantly making last minute changes which affects everyone else. Sometimes he really frustrates me. Yai sends him e-mails and he doesn't respond to them, how can we effectively communicate with him when it's one sided?! Oh well. After the meeting we came home and started packing up the house again. There is so much to do! I absolutely hate packing!!! Can't wait until we are settled in the new house. We took a break from packing and watched General Conference while Skyler took a nap. When Skyler woke up we headed to the new house to do our walk through with the blue tape. Needless to say there are a lot of blue tape strips throughout the house :) Yai and David went to Priesthood session and Kiersten, Jaylin, Avery, Skyler and I went to Zupas for dinner. After dinner I dropped Kiersten off at the movie theater, she was meeting Dillon Moreno there. I went back home with the kids. Yai and David went to the Thai House restaurant for dinner and had a great father and son night out! The kids went to bed and Kiersten came over to do her taxes with Yai while I went to Walmart to get boxes. When I got home we talked for a bit and then Kiersten went home and Yai and I went up to bed. It was a great day!

Dad's Birthday
Dear Journal,
The kids are on Spring Break and have been in their jammies all day. They played the Wii and watched TV. I managed to get some packing done and laundry while Yai is at work. Kiersten will be coming over tonight to watch the kids so we can go out to dinner to celebrate my dad's birthday. We're going to La Jolla Grill in Provo. Not too much to write about my day today, just cleaning, laundry, and packing to move into our new house next weekend. Kiersten came to watch the kids so Yai and I could go out to dinner for Dad's birthday. We drove down to Provo and on the drive Yai was talking to Paula on the phone about Pa, he has kidney failure and is in the hospital and there is more drama with Scott and Kay. They are upset that Kay isn't spending much time with Pa in the hospital. Oh the drama, so glad we don't live out there. Anyways we had a nice dinner with mom, dad, Elaine, Jeff, Les, and Bill. Pete and Suzanne had Jazz tickets and went to the game, but they had already had dinner with mom and dad at Rumbi Grill last night to celebrate. It was great to spend time with the family and to chat and laugh. After dinner we went back to Les and Bill's house for cake and ice cream. We sang Happy Birthday to Dad and he blew out his candles. We played the card game Golf for a couple rounds and then it was time to go home. Kiersten and the kids went to Neptune Park, got ice cream, rented a Redbox movie Paranorman and came home watched the movie ate popcorn and painted Jaylin and Avery's nails. When Yai and I got home they were watching their second movie Despicable Me and Skyler was asleep on Kiersten. I changed him into his jammies, made him a bottle and put him to bed. The kids slept downstairs and Yai and I headed up to bed. Kiersten stayed a little longer to watch the movie and then she let herself out. All in all it was a great day!

My First Entry
Dear Journal,
This is my first entry. I thought it would be a lot easier to keep a journal by typing it down. So a little back ground on me. I'm 32 years old, I have been married for almost 10 years to my best friend and the love of my life. Together we have 4 amazing children. David is 8 years old, Jaylin is 7 years old, Avery is 5 years old, and Skyler is 9 1/2 months old. We are currently in the process of moving into the first house we built. Right now we live in our townhouse (which we own) in Lehi, Utah and will be moving into our new house in Eagle Mountain in less than 2 weeks. We are all very excited. I met my parents at the new house today to show them around and they really like it. I'm glad we have their approval. It will be so nice to have all the extra space. Yai is out to dinner with Dillon Moreno and Kiersten Messinger tonight so it's just me and the kids. We went to Smith's and picked out our dinners for tonight. Jaylin has Ravioli, Avery has Bagel Bites Pizza, and David and I have Shrimp Scampi pasta. Yai came home a little later than he usually does from work but we spent some time as a family talking and watching TV, then it was time to pack some more. The kids took baths and went to bed and Yai and I continued to pack some more. We watched a little TV to wind down and talked for a bit, then we decided to go to bed. We were pretty tired. All in all, it's been a pretty good day!
